Brand new Senstate stations will monitor the air quality in Dimitrovgrad!
Both Senstate Urban Air Quality Stations are bought by TPP “Maritsa 3”, at the initiative of the mayor of the city – Ivo Dimov, and will be managed by the Municipality of Dimitrovgrad. They are placed in different locations and thus will provide a comparison with the data from the station of the Executive Environment Agency at the center of the town.
Citizens will have constant access to live air quality data from stationary monitors and through the online Cloud Box platform, which allows monitoring the trends on a daily basis. At the moment it is clear that one of the displays will be mounted at the entrance of the Municipality building. The other’s place has to be discussed.
The air quality monitoring stations will measure fine dust particles at pm 1, 2.5, pm 4, and 10, as well as the following gases SO2, NO2, CO, and ozone. The stations will also output information about temperature, humidity, pressure, etc.
The devices are equipped with high-class sensory components and advanced networking technologies for a wide range of applications in the public, education, and the private sector. We are glad that more cities in the country are one step forward in building a better living environment for all of us!
