447 children study in “Nikola Yonkov Vaptsarov” school from first to twelfth grade. The new 2023/2024 school year was opened in a renovated building with a new look and modern vision that provides comfortable conditions for learning, activities and games for students.
The school is working on the implementation of a STEM project for the creation of three specialized offices in mathematics, physics and chemistry and biology, as well as six high-tech classrooms. Traditionally, the school prepares staff with good knowledge of Natural Sciences, and many of the graduates then apply in specialties in the field of health and ecology.
A day before the opening of the new school year, an air monitoring station was installed. There is also a display that displays air quality data in real time.

Students can learn about harmful substances in the air, their sources and effects on health.
